help a mentally ill trans man go to college despite his transphobic/abusive parents

hi my name is johnny and I need help because the woman who birthed me wont sign the form to let the state pay for what is essentially everything.

first things first my mother is not above fucking over my future to get what she wants out of me/the situation. she hates that im trans and i have more proof of her hate if need be but alot of it is Alot lol so please just request it personally if u want to see it.

warning transphobia

the following conversation is between me and my mom it shows her viewpoint on me and me going to school:

and i went to my father hoping he would be willing to atleast talk to her and he had this shit to say:

image

i dont know how else to explain to him that the situation and the fact that my mother is wrong and i dont want to bc i know it would be a wasted effort. the man hasnt even been a constant in my life let alone my academic career.

here are the emails i received by the school bc they had to drop me since there was no financial aid info they could process (because of my mother lmao)

image

and heres the official government email about the uncompleted form:

she wont fill out her tax info or sign so guys I’m really really stuck here lmao.

I had to quit w the therapist I’m seeing bc she doesnt want to pay and wont give me my goddamn life insurance info on top of this. I cannot let her have this too I fucking refuse.

I didnt even originally want to go to college and I was forced to but now that I do my mom has decided to do everything she can to stop me.

all in all my mom has kicked me out and is threatening to throw my things out if I dont go get them out of her house. i was visiting a friend in nyc for the summer and because of her I have to use what money I have to go home and pay to have my stuff sent back upstate, take a bus back up and put them into storage. Luckily I’ll have a place to stay in a week or so because my friend Monique is coming back from out of the country soon and shes willing to let me crash with her while I’m sorting out all the bullshit that’s been happening.

heres what i owe for the year:

hey!!!!! ur local lesbian here that is starting to panic for a number of reasons:

after paying for rent and several bills, not only can my dad NOT afford to fly me back to school in september, he’s overdrawn by 66 dollars.

meaning that on top of the 66 dollars needed to help my dad not be overtly charged again and again, I need at least 150 dollars or so to get an airline ticket before the prices go way up.

my dad’s disability checks only come in on the 3rd of every month, and the move in days for my college are from the 3 to the 5th of september.

please please please consider donating !!!

violet-eyes-silver-hair:

I’m keeping this URL but I made a new blog called @ladyofdragonstone in case this one gets deleted. Go follow that one right now and send me an inbox so I can follow you back please.

It’s not properly set up and it doesn’t have a theme, but it’ll get there

I have restricted access on this blog and they deleted my theme, so I’m 60% sure it’ll get deleted for posting GoT Behind The Scenes.

Don’t worry, I’m backing up fics and fanarts as we speak. Poor moodboards, memes, and other edits might get trashed lol RIP they had a good run.

mcavoys:

i got my blog terminated last year for copyright infringement basically for posting candids of celebs, my tips for those who are still posting

  • dont post the original hq photo, they’re much easier to track down
  • if you edit, change dimensions, cut some parts, use brightness and other stuff to make it look different than the original, some paps sell photos to different agencies so that way itll be harder to identify
  • dont use the same caption as the source agency you took that photo from, it’s easier to be found
  • from my experience, once they find one post of yours, either its old or new, they’ll be checking your blog constantly so if you got at least one warning from tumblr be careful, change captions or delete your posts, save your url and dont post this kind of stuff on your main blog cause theyll come after you and after 3 strikes your blog will be deleted
  • be careful yall

blondedanvers:

Anyone who knows me knows that my dog (Named Rory, after the Gilmore Girls very own lead character) is my world. I’ve had her since she was a tiny little pup and now she’s a year old!

Recently, due to personal setbacks and crisis’, I’ve been caught in a situation that has left me with no income, no car, all while living with relatives (which is soon coming to an end as they want me and her out of there) in a rural area with no transportation to places of business so that I can work.

Because of this, I’m going to have to move to a bigger city and resort to sleeping on a friends couch until I can get back on my feet. Which is fine, except her apartment is not pet friendly and I cannot bring Rory with me.  I have tried to find friends/family who could baby sit her but I have had no luck. I am getting a lot of pressure to give her up, since soon I will be homeless if I do not, but I can’t bare to do it. She is my heart and the thought of losing her is more painful than not having a place to live.  She has been my rock through one of the hardest times in my life and my major goal is to get back on my feet so I can provide her with the life she deserves.

I’m campaigning for $1200 to just barely cover the boarding costs, to have her in a boarding facility while I stay on my friends couch, obtain a job and save up enough money for first months rent in a pet friendly apartment. None of this money is going to my needs, only to cover the boarding so she will be in safe capable hands while pull myself up by my bootstraps .

Just know I am beyond grateful for any help, whether if be encouraging thoughts and prayers, donations or even just spreading the word. ❤ thank you so much.

HERE is a link to my gofundme if you would like to & are able to donate.

‼️emergency signal boost‼️

as you’ve probably seen we have a donation post going around right now to help us get out of our awful apartment complex. it’s been around a hot minute and donations are slowing down majorly which means

rent time is here and we’re screwed!

the thing about being poor is that uh, it’s expensive. currently both of us are pulling in as much as we can, but we’re both disabled and also both sick as dogs right now unfortunately. seeing as we can’t leave the complex this month we’ve still gotta pay rent and that’s.. not. gonna happen right now. we need about $700 we don’t have after medical expenses, bills, etc.

so. if you have anything to spare, if you like our content, if we’ve given you anything to smile about… anything helps! literally anything.

we’re really barely getting by overall and it’d be nice to not wind up homeless, frankly.

so if you’ve got the inclination

paypal here

cashapp is $runefire

venmo is @niarkos

or buy raccoon’s poetry here

and hey, if youve donated a few bucks and want to get something in return, contact raccoon’s main @holmesarchetype. she’s taking writing commissions and would adjust prices gladly for someone who’s helped us to not get any deeper in debt

thank you! love and light and all that good stuff

Im Erin, my family needs at least $10 to eat this week and $15 for cab fare. I’ve applied for disability,I am just waiting to hear back on it and that takes a long, time. If you want to donate, be it 1 cent or 5 cent, no amount is too small, it would be greatly appreciated. I will repay anyone who donates in any wayWe are in bad debt which is where most of our money goes currently as well as basic bills and for gas. Reblogs are as helpful as donations. Nobody has to donate if they don’t want to or can’t, times are hard on everyone. No one should feel guilty for not donating. I love y’all. Please don’t send me hate, I will block you.

paypal or cash.me or venmo

this is my paypal currently. i’m sorry to keep asking for so much but we need food and cab fare. so if we get money for food i can go get it. even 1 cent would be of a major help to us at this point and would be greatlyappreciated, as would reblogs. if you can’t/don’t want to donate, i understand and love y’all and am thankful for all of y’all, we have no one to turn to in real life and y’ll are a huge help.

croissant-au-chocolat:

An extremely dangerous heat wave is developing across the Iberian peninsula and will be peaking later this week (from around the 2nd to the 5th of August, 2018), various models are forecasting daytime temperatures in the upper 40s, close to 50°C!
An additional concern will be strongly enhanced fire danger due to a combination of a very high heat, extremely dry air-mass and windy conditions. Extreme fire danger will develop after Thursday and could potentially be catastrophic if wildfires occur anywhere across the west/south-central Spain and Portugal!  [source]

Portuguese forecast says that temperatures might reach 47ºC in Reguendos de Monsaraz, and 45ºC/44ºC in the rest of Évora, Beja, and Santarém districts. 40ºC in Lisbon, 42ºC in Setúbal, among other monstrosities. (I always check IPMA for the official stuff.)
I imagine it’s the same for Spain’s Extremadura and Andalusia especially!

image

Take care of yourselves, everyone! Keep cool, keep hydrated, and keep an eye out for wildfires + avoid things that can start one, even accidentally!!

Don’t go out if you can help it (plus, close all windows and keep your house as dark as possible), and if you can’t, never forget a hat, loose clothing, and more importantly: sunscreen! Doesn’t matter the colour of your skin: use it, all over, and reapply a few times a day!

Beneath is a comprehensive list of heat wave health risks taken from here. Please take care everyone!

Who is most at risk?

Hot weather is uncomfortable to most, but the following groups are particularly threatened by very high temperatures:

  • elderly people aged over 75 years
  • babies, young children
  • people with chronic / long term health conditions, such as diabetes, respiratory disease, circulatory disease
  • people who are obese
  • people taking certain medicines
  • people who work outdoors, or in hot/poorly ventilated areas, or engage in physical activity in hot weather
  • people who are socially isolated
  • people who are not aclimatised to hot weather, such as tourists from northern countries

How to stay cool, hydrated and healthy in hot weather

Consider taking these precautions and measures to stay healthy in very hot weather:

  • Drink plenty of water! – the body cools through sweating and on a very hot day an adult may loose up to several liters of water. Keep drinking water. Avoid drinking alcohol, hot drinks and drinks with high sugar content, as they can make dehydration worse. A regular intake of water is a good way of preventing dehydration.
  • Keep cool – keep your body cool, stay out of the sun. Eat small meals, preferably fruit and salads. Wear light-colored and loose clothing, made from natural materials like cotton. Take a cool shower or a cold bath if you feel hot. Also – keep your work space and living space cool. If you do not have air conditioning, shut the curtains and blinds during the day. Stay in the coolest room and avoid using the stove and oven as much as possible. If your home gets too hot, go to a cooler place – a library, shopping center, cinema or swimming pool.
  • Keep your food safe! – keep food that needs refrigeration properly stored! Food spoils rapidly at high temperatures and you may risk food poisoning if the food is not properly stored.
  • If you need to go out in the sun – make sure to protect your skin, use proper sunscreen and clothing to avoid sunburns. Cover your head properly.
  • Know your body, have a plan – ask your doctor if you have any health conditions that may increase the risk of heat-related illness. Call and consult with your doctor if you are feeling unwell. Call emergency help (know the number!) if you are feeling very unwell!

Common heat-related illnesses – symptoms and what to do

Consider taking these precautions and measures to stay healthy in very hot weather. Keep in mind these descriptions and treatments are informative only – consult with your doctor for details and professional advice:

  • Dehydration occurs when the body looses too much water to maintain its normal functions. Symptoms include: dizziness, tiredness, irritability, thirst, dark yellow urine, loss of appetite, fainting. Drink plenty of water or diluted fruit juice. Avoid coffee, alcohol and sugary drinks. Move to a cool space to cool off. If you feel unwell, call your doctor or emergency room.
  • Heat rash is an itchy rash, caused by excessive sweating. Move to a cooler, dryer environment and keep the affected areas dry. Hydrating creams may make the condition worse. Consult with your doctor.
  • Heat cramps happen during strenuous activity, when the body sweats a lot and looses water and salt. Heat cramps manifest as muscle pains or spasms. If this happens, stop all activity and move / lie down in a cool place, raise your legs slightly. Drink water or diluted juice. Have a cool shower or bath, apply ice packs. Do not return to strenuous activity for several hours. If heat cramps do not subside, seek medical help.
  • Heat exhaustion is the condition in response to loosing excessive amounts of water and salt. Symptoms include heavy sweating, pale skin, fast and weak pulse, fast and shallow breathing, muscle weakness or cramps, tiredness and weakness, dizziness, headache, nausea or vomiting, fainting. If heat exhaustion occurs, the body needs to be cooled and rehydrated by moving to a cooled place and lying down, having a cool shower or bath, placing cool packs under the armpits, groin or back of the neck. Rehydration should be done by taking small amounts of cool fluids. Medical help is advised if symptoms do not abate within an hour.
  • Heat stroke happens when the body temperature reaches 40.5 °C and is an extremely serious and life-threatening condition! Immediate first aid in lowering body temperature is critical and well as immediate call for an ambulance!

This section is informative and by no means an exhaustive medical guide, rather these are informative guidelines to help you familiarize with the risks, the symptoms and some remedies. Note that some symptoms may be indicative of other health problems and need to be treated as such. Consult with your doctor for definitive information and instructions. Keep safe during the ongoing heat wave, keep in mind that heat-related illness can affect anybody and plan your activities accordingly. Seek medical help if you experience strong and/or prolonged symptoms of heat-related illness.
