“I have made a marriage contract for you.”
“A marriage…” Her throat tightened. She did not want to wed again, not now, perhaps not ever. “I do not…I cannot marry. Father, I…” Alayne looked to the door, to make certain it was closed. “I am married,” she whispered. “You know.”

~1k, Dany/Sansa, T-rating, for @gotsecretsanta and @haadestown

Summary: Daenerys must admit — as cold and physically distant Sansa is upon her arrival at Winterfell, this woman continues to intrigue her. “Lady Sansa,” Daenerys speaks up, joining her after climbing the
winding, frost-covered stones. The midday winter sun billows into
Sansa’s orange-auburn hair, illuminating every precious strand.

Sansa Stark was a little girl, a child, when she watched her father be beheaded at the command of a boy who she thought loved her. She was imprisoned, surrounded by monsters, and completely alone; not knowing if her family were dead or alive and living with the threat of death, hers and her loved ones, over her head constantly. She was beaten, molested, abused, and sold – and she survived it all while managing to stay smart and play the part. I don’t know many preteens that could control their emotions and be that smart under such situations. And on top of that, she still never lost hope and she never forgot who she is. After all that, she doesn’t hesitate to show compassion even to the people that abuse her. She’s still willing to love, willing to live. Sansa is so important, she’s as Stark as her siblings, and she’s a motherfucking survivor. Honestly, just get off my blog if you don’t appreciate and respect Sansa Stark.
