i still have nowhere near enough for hormone therapy and i’m genuinely so miserable living in this manner with my debilitating dysphoria. i have waited for 5+ years since coming out to begin hrt and i can’t take this anymore, i’ve been having a consistent depressive episode that is one of the worst of my entire life, and i worry for my health. i came to college expecting to be able to transition, and i have instead been forced back into the closet. i know that i can’t live like this in the long term, and i can’t deal with my dysphoria much longer.

i’m doing informed consent at a clinic a few hours away because there are absolutely no resources in the rural area i’m from in order to get a prescription. i will need money for transportation to and from the trans clinic, blood work, and hormones. since it is informed consent, the medical center requires that i get blood work done every few weeks starting off.
